Effective from November 15, 2022, all financial institutions operating in Bangladesh must adhere to a revised office schedule, operating from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays through Wednesdays, with Thursdays and Fridays designated as weekly holidays. This directive is issued under Section 18(c) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993, to align with the government's announced changes to office hours.

Regarding the determination of office hours.
Following the government's announcement of changed office hours, and pending further instructions, the office hours for all financial institutions operating in Bangladesh are hereby determined as follows from November 15, 2022:
Working Days: Office Hours Saturday to Wednesday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday and Friday: Weekly Holiday
This order is issued in the public interest under the powers conferred by Section 18(c) of the Financial Institutions Act, 1993.
