Dear Sir,
Regarding the determination of the maximum age limit for employees/directors for direct recruitment in Finance Companies.
Through Government Ordinance No. 11, 2024, published by the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs on November 18, 2024, the maximum age limit for direct recruitment in government, autonomous, semi-autonomous, statutory government bodies, public non-financial corporations, and self-governing organizations has been changed from 30 (thirty) years to 32 (thirty-two) years.
Now, in order to align with the aforementioned Ordinance, you are hereby instructed to change the maximum age limit for direct recruitment of employees/directors in Finance Companies from 30 (thirty) years to 32 (thirty-two) years.
The instructions provided through DFIM Circular No.-04, dated June 27, 2013, are hereby revoked. However, actions already taken under the said instructions shall be considered valid.
These instructions are issued under the authority granted by Section 41(2)(g) of the Finance Companies Act, 2023, which shall take immediate effect.
