In the case of newly elected/re-elected directors, it must be ensured by verifying the CIB report that the concerned director(s) are not defaulters.
Instructions are given to inform all banks/financial institutions of any change in the board of directors of any institution, update it on their own website, and submit the updated information through CIB to the Bangladesh Bank Web Portal within 7 (seven) days of the change.
The relevant link [http://www.bb.org.bd>>Department>>DFIM>>Director>>Submission] can be accessed through the approved link to download the said Credit Information Bureau (CIB) and the guidelines (Instructions) regarding its completion from the Bangladesh Bank website. All instructions for filling out the CIB are provided in these guidelines.

If the details are not uploaded to the Bangladesh Bank Web Portal through the relevant CIB within the stipulated time or if uploaded late, action will be taken according to DFIM Circular No. 05/2012.
DFIM Circular No. 05/2010 shall be deemed replaced by this circular, and these instructions shall come into force immediately.
