DID Circular No. 04: Online Submission of Information for Deposit Insurance Premium Assessment (IDIPA) in New Format

Please refer to DID Circular No. 01, dated on July 06, 2011 of this Department regarding the captioned subject. 01. All the Scheduled banks in Bangladesh are instructed to submit necessary information regarding deposit insurance premium to Deposit Insurance Department as per specified format for the calculation of deposit insurance premium. Henceforth, it has been decided that banks will send the required information through online in the new format [Information for Deposit Insurance Premium Assessment (IDIPA)] established by Bangladesh Bank. 02. Until further instruction, information of deposit insurance premium determination has to send both through online & in a hardcopy (Existing System) to this department before the last day of next month of every half year ended. If banks fail to submit statement in due time, monetary punishment & fine will be imposed under the clause 109 (7) of Bank Company Act, 1991. 03. Instructions for sending information through online are stated below: a) Only Scheduled banks in Bangladesh will be eligible to use this specific format (IDIPA). b) To reach the format, log in Bangladesh Bank website www.bb.org.bd Services  E‐services  IDIPA. c) To log in the format, every bank has to nominate two eligible officials for collecting specific User ID & Password from this department. d) Before sending the statement, accuracy of information has to be ensured. e) To know more information regarding this issue, please contact at gm.did@bb.org.bd.
