Regarding the appointment of Rupali Bank Limited as Primary Dealer.
It is informed for your information that Rupali Bank Limited was approved as a primary dealer for government securities for a period of one year through DMD Circular Letter No.-09 dated 30/12/2021, with the aim of activating the secondary market for the issuance and post-issuance purchase-sale of Treasury Bills and Bonds of the Government of Bangladesh. Now, considering the program activities of the past one year in the primary and secondary markets, Rupali Bank Limited has been approved to continue its regular activities as a primary dealer.
This directive shall be deemed effective from 02 January, 2023.
