DMD Circular Letter No. 06: Time schedule of Bangladesh Government/Bangladesh Bank Bill/Bond/Repo auction & ALS, EDSMoney platform transaction
Effective 24 August 2022, the Bangladesh Bank revised the bidding time schedules for government treasury bills/bonds, Islamic investment bonds, Central Bank bills, and various repo and Assured Liquidity Support (ALS) auctions to align with the government's changed office hours. The new schedule allocates specific time windows for each auction type, ranging from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 4:00 PM depending on the instrument. Additionally, transaction hours on the EDSMoney platform were extended to run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily. These changes apply to all scheduled banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the time schedule of Bangladesh Government/Bangladesh Bank Bill/Bond/Repo Auction and transactions on the Assured Liquidity Support (ALS) and EDSMoney platform in accordance with the changed office hours.
In order to save electricity, in accordance with the changed office hours announced by the government, and in light of the instructions mentioned in DMD Circular Letter No.-01 dated 22 August 2022, the bidding time schedule for Bangladesh Government Treasury Bill/Bond Auction, Bangladesh Government Islamic Investment Bond, Bangladesh Bank Bill Auction, Central Bank Repo, Inter Bank Repo, Reverse Repo, Special Repo, and Assured Liquidity Support (ALS) is hereby revised as follows, effective from 24 August 2022, until further notice:
