The document amends the Central Bank of Bangladesh's repo auction schedule, reducing frequency from two days to one day per week (Tuesday, or the next working day if Tuesday is a holiday) for 7, 14, and 28-day tenors. It grants overnight (1-day) repo auction facilities on Cash Deposit Ratio (CDR) compliance days for Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) purposes, while maintaining existing daily liquidity adjustment facilities. These instructions become effective on November 1, 2024, and apply to all scheduled banks and financial institutions operating in Bangladesh.
