DOS Circular Letter No. 01: Closing of Scheduled Bank Branches on 11/01/2015 (Sunday) due to Rajoir Pourashava Election
All scheduled bank branches located in the Rajoir Pourashava area of Rajoir Upazila, Madaripur District, are required to remain closed on Sunday, January 11, 2015. This closure is mandated to facilitate voting in the postponed local election and to allow bank staff to exercise their voting rights. The directive is issued in response to a memorandum from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives dated January 8, 2015.

Dear Sir,
In this regard, regarding the closure of scheduled banks on the occasion of the voting for the postponed election of Rajoir Pourashava, Rajoir Upazila, Madaripur District, a general holiday has been declared in the relevant electoral area on Sunday, January 11, 2015, on the occasion of voting for the postponed election of Rajoir Pourashava, Rajoir Upazila, Madaripur District, with reference to Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.12-09 dated 08/01/2015 of the Ministry of Local Government.
In this context, to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and voting by bank employees/staff, all branches of scheduled banks located in the relevant electoral area will remain closed on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
