DOS Circular Letter No. 01: Keeping scheduled bank branches closed in the election area on 31 January 2017 for the occasion of 133 Tangail-4 election
All scheduled bank branches and controlling offices located in the 133 Tangail-4 election area are required to remain closed on Tuesday, 31 January 2017 to facilitate voting for the by-election of the vacant seat. This directive is issued in response to a memorandum from the Ministry of Public Administration of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the closure of Scheduled Banks on the day of voting in the 133 Tangail-4 election area of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad
In view of the memorandum no. 05.00.0000.193.08.002.12-20 dated 29/01/2017 from Rule-4 Branch, Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the aforementioned subject, all Scheduled Banks located in the relevant election area, including their controlling offices, shall remain closed on Tuesday, 31 January, 2017, to facilitate officers/employees in exercising their voting rights and for the conduct of voting on the occasion of the vacant seat of the 133 Tangail-4 election area of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad.
