All scheduled banks are required to close their branches located within the Madhabdi Pourosova election area on Tuesday, 12 January 2016. This closure is mandated to facilitate the re-election voting for the Mayor, reserved seat Councilors, and general seat Councilors, ensuring that bank employees can exercise their voting rights and access voting facilities. The directive is issued in accordance with a memorandum from the District Election Office, Narshingdi, dated 09 January 2016.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the closure of scheduled bank branches in the context of voting for the Madhabdi Pourosova election in Narshingdi District.
In accordance with the memorandum No. 17.02.6800.000.38.002.15-25 dated 09/01/2016 from the District Election Office, Narshingdi, regarding the re-election-2015 for the post of Mayor, Councilors of reserved seats, and Councilors of general seats in Madhabdi Pourosova, all scheduled bank branches located in the election area will remain closed on the upcoming Tuesday, 12 January 2016. This measure is taken to facilitate bank employees to exercise their voting rights and to provide convenience for voting.
