Subject: Information regarding Post Import Financing (Form: AOF-01, AOF-02, AOF-03).

Dear Sir,

Reference is invited to this Department's DOS Circular Letter No. 34 dated 18 August 2021 and BRPD Circular No. 12 dated 13 June 2021 on the subject matter. The aforementioned circulars mentioned two sectors (consumer goods and industrial raw materials). Subsequently, two new sectors (trading goods and agricultural products) were included in the post-import financing facility (Form: AOF-01, AOF-02, AOF-03) through BRPD Circular Letter No. 12 dated 26 April 2022. In this context, it has been decided to revise and modify the form provided through DOS Circular Letter No. 34 dated 18 August 2021.

  1. Accordingly, instructions are hereby given to submit the revised form (Form AOF-01, AOF-02, and AOF-03) containing information regarding post-import financing to the Department of Off-Site Supervision, both in hard and soft copy, by the end of the following month for each month. Instructions are also given to send a copy of the report to the Task Force of the Banking Regulation and Policy Department.

  2. These instructions will be effective from the March 2024 monthly submission. Other terms and instructions of BRPD Circular No. 12/2021 will remain unchanged.

Yours faithfully,

(Arif Hossain Khan) Director (DOS) Phone: 9530093
