Dear Sir,

Regarding the closure of scheduled banks for the general election voting in Shorasti Pouroshova of Chandpur District and Charfashion Pouroshova of Vola District.

With reference to the Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.12-49 dated 08/02/2016 from the Ministry of Public Administration on the aforementioned subject, it is informed that a general holiday has been declared on Monday, 15 February 2016, in the concerned election areas for the general election voting in Shorasti Pouroshova of Chandpur District and Charfashion Pouroshova of Vola District. In this context, all branches of scheduled banks located in the concerned election areas will remain closed on Monday, 15 February 2016, to enable bank staff/employees to exercise their voting rights and for voting purposes.
