Scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are required to ensure that their employees receive vaccination certificates and that both bank staff and visiting customers strictly adhere to health protocols, including the mandatory wearing of masks. These hygiene instructions were issued by the Department of Off-Site Supervision of the Central Bank of Bangladesh on January 23, 2022, to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19).

Dear Sir,
The following instructions are issued for the scheduled banks to follow to prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19):
- Employees/officials working in your bank must receive vaccination certificates; and
- Bank employees/officials and visiting customers must strictly follow proper hygiene instructions, including the mandatory wearing of masks.
