The Department of Supervision mandates that all scheduled banks in Bangladesh, excluding foreign banks, submit the minutes of their Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and Audit Committee meetings within seven days of the meeting's holding. This requirement replaces the previous instruction to submit minutes by the 10th of the following month without waiting for confirmation. The directive becomes effective immediately.

Dear Sir,
Reference is drawn to the Department's DOS Circular Letter No. 16 dated 29/11/2003, listed above, regarding the submission of minutes of meetings of the Board of Directors/Executive Committee/Audit Committee of banks.
Through the aforementioned circular letter, banks were instructed to mandatorily submit the minutes of all meetings of the Board/EC/Audit Committee held during the month to this Department by the 10th of the following month, without waiting for confirmation of the minutes. It has now been decided that banks must mandatorily submit the minutes of their Board of Directors/Executive Committee/Audit Committee meetings to this Department within 07 (seven) days of the holding of the meeting.
This instruction shall come into force immediately.
