DOS Circular Letter No. 08: Closure of Bank Branches in Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna and Barisal due to City Corporation Election
All scheduled banks are required to close their branches in the Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, and Sylhet metropolitan areas on Saturday, June 15, 2013, to facilitate voting by bank employees during the City Corporation General Election. This closure is mandated in accordance with the election schedule announced by the Election Commission to ensure the right to vote and the collection of votes for bank staff.

Dear Sir,
Subject: Closure of all Scheduled Banks in Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet Metropolitan Areas on the occasion of the upcoming City Corporation General Election on 15 June, 2013 (Saturday).
In accordance with the schedule announced by the Election Commission, all scheduled bank branches under the aforementioned election areas will remain closed on the day of the election, 15 June, 2013 (Saturday), to facilitate bank staff in exercising their right to vote and in the collection of votes for the General Election of Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet City Corporations.
