The Department of Offsite Supervision establishes the office and transaction hours for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh during the Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1444 (2023). Office hours are set from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with a lunch break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM for Zuhr prayer, while transaction hours are limited to 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Fridays and Saturdays are designated as weekly holidays. Internal coordination ensures transaction activities continue uninterrupted during the prayer break, and standard schedules resume immediately after Ramadan concludes.

Regarding the determination of office hours for banks during the Holy Ramadan month of Hijri 1444 (2023 AD).
Dear Sir,
The office and transaction hours for all banks operating in Bangladesh during the Holy Ramadan month of Hijri 1444 (2023 AD) will be as follows:

Although a break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM has been designated for Zuhr prayer, transaction work will continue uninterrupted through internal coordination, similar to the pre-Ramadan period.
Following the conclusion of the Holy Ramadan month, the bank's office and transaction hours will return to the pre-Ramadan schedule.
