To: All Chief Executive Officers of Scheduled Commercial Banks, Non-Banking Finance Companies, and Microfinance Institutions.
Subject: Opening of Bank Branches on Weekly Holiday, Saturday, for Eid-ul-Azha.
In reference to DOS Circular Letter No. 18 dated 07-12-2006 regarding the opening of branches on weekly holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, and other national holidays, it is hereby decided that bank branches may remain open on Saturday, the weekly holiday, for the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
Accordingly, the Chief Executive Officers of Scheduled Commercial Banks, Non-Banking Finance Companies, and Microfinance Institutions are directed to ensure that their respective branches remain open on Saturday for Eid-ul-Azha.
This is issued for information and necessary action.
