All branches and sub-branches of scheduled banks located in Mujibnagar Upazilla, Meherpur District, are required to remain closed on Sunday, 17 April 2022, in observance of Historic Mujibnagar Day. This directive is issued pursuant to Government Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.18-84 dated 13 April 2022, which declared a public holiday for the occasion.

Through Gazette Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.18-84 dated 13 April 2022 of the Ministry of Public Administration, a government holiday has been declared on Sunday, 17 April 2022, in Mujibnagar Upazilla of Meherpur District to observe Historic Mujibnagar Day. Accordingly, all branches/sub-branches of scheduled banks located in the said Upazilla shall remain closed.
