DOS Circular Letter No. 11: Scheduled Bank branches located under Election areas will remain closed on 03/07/2013 (Wednesday) & 06/07/2013 (Saturday) for election purpose
Scheduled banks are required to keep all branches located in specific election areas closed on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, and Saturday, July 6, 2013. The closures are mandated to facilitate voting and vote collection for the by-election in National Parliament constituency 165 Kishoreganj-4 on July 3, and for the Gazipur City Corporation, Sonaimudi Upazila, and Adhainagar and Gopalganj Upazila elections on July 6. This directive applies to all banks operating in Bangladesh.
