DOS Circular Letter No. 12: Office time table in the month of Ramadan

The Department of Off-site Supervision mandates that banks operating in Bangladesh adjust their office and transaction hours during the holy month of Ramadan 1434 AH (2013 CE). Office hours are set from Sunday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with a break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM. Transaction services continue uninterrupted during the prayer break through internal coordination, and normal schedules resume immediately after Ramadan.

To, The Chief Executive All Bank Companies Operating in Bangladesh.

Dear Sir,

Regarding the office and transaction schedule during the holy month of Ramadan.

The office and transaction schedule for all bank companies operating in Bangladesh during the holy month of Ramadan 1434 AH (2013 CE) will be as follows:

Although a break for Zuhr prayer has been designated from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM, transaction work will continue uninterrupted during the pre-Ramadan period through internal coordination according to regulations.

After the holy month of Ramadan is over, the bank's office and transaction schedule will return to the pre-Ramadan status.
