The Department of Off-Site Supervision establishes the office and transaction schedules for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh during the Holy Ramadan of Hijri 1440 (2019). Office hours are set from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with a one-hour break for Zuhr prayer between 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM. Transactions are permitted from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and banks must maintain internal coordination to ensure continuous transaction processing during the prayer break. Normal office and transaction schedules will resume immediately after the conclusion of the Ramadan month.

Dear Sir,
With reference to the determination of the office time table during the Holy Ramadan month of Hijri 1440 (2019 AD), the office and transaction time table for all bank companies operating in Bangladesh during the Holy Ramadan month of Hijri 1440 (2019 AD) will be as follows:

Although a break from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM has been designated for Zuhr prayer, transactions will continue through internal coordination in accordance with the regulations similar to the pre-Ramadan period.
After the Holy Ramadan month is over, the office and transaction time table of the banks will revert to the pre-Ramadan schedule.
