DOS Circular Letter No. 14: Keeping scheduled bank branches closed in the election areas on 5th June, 2024 for the General Election of 58 Upazilla Parishads
All branches and regional offices of scheduled banks located in the election areas for the general election of 58 Upazila Parishads must remain closed on June 5, 2024. This directive is issued in accordance with Gazette Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.020.24.65 dated May 27, 2024, from the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives. Bank management is instructed to take necessary measures to ensure compliance with this closure requirement.

Regarding the general holiday declared in the relevant election areas on 05 June 2024 on the occasion of the general election of 58 Upazila Parishads.
Dear Sir,
In accordance with Gazette Notification No. 05.00.0000.173.08.020.24.65 dated 27 May 2024 of the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, all branches/sub-branches of scheduled banks located in the relevant election areas for the general election of 58 Upazila Parishads (list attached) along with their regional offices shall remain closed on 05 June 2024.
Instructions are hereby given to take necessary measures in this regard.
