DOS Circular Letter No. 14: Temporary Intermission of Banking Operations of National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC for Core Banking System Upgradation
The Department of Offsite Supervision grants consent to National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC to temporarily suspend all banking operations, including branches, ATMs, debit cards, Bkash, BFITN, RTGS, NPSB, internet banking, and SWIFT, from 8:00 PM on July 8, 2025, until 8:00 AM on July 13, 2025. This suspension is authorized under Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, to facilitate the smooth execution of the bank's core banking system (CBS) upgradation program.

Consent has been given to the application of National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC to temporarily suspend all banking (branch, sub-branch, debit card, ATM, Bkash, BFITN, RTGS, NPSB, internet banking, SWIFT, etc.) activities from 8:00 PM on July 8, 2025, to 8:00 AM on July 13, 2025, for the purpose of smoothly executing the existing Core Banking System (CBS) upgradation program.
This consent is granted under the powers vested in Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
