All scheduled bank Authorized Dealer (AD) branches located at land borders other than the specified major hubs must remain open on Fridays and Saturdays preceding Eid-Ul-Fitre to facilitate uninterrupted onion imports from India. This directive aims to maintain market supply and stabilize onion prices during the current Ramadan and upcoming Eid period. The instruction applies to all banks operating in Bangladesh and supersedes previous guidelines regarding branch operations on weekends.
