DOS Circular Letter No. 17: Temporary Intermission of Banking Operations of Midland Bank PLC for Core Banking System Upgradation
The Department of Offsite Supervision grants consent for Midland Bank PLC to temporarily suspend all banking operations for three days, from 08:00 AM on October 1, 2025, to 08:00 AM on October 4, 2025, to facilitate Core Banking System upgradation. This suspension covers branches, sub-branches, agent banking, debit cards, ATMs, BSPS, BEFTN, RTGS, and NPSB. The approval is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.

Subject: Temporary suspension of all banking operations of Midland Bank PLC for the purpose of Core Banking System upgradation.
Dear Sir,
With reference to the application of Midland Bank PLC, consent is hereby granted to temporarily suspend all banking operations (branches, sub-branches, agent banking, debit cards, ATMs, BSPS, BEFTN, RTGS, NPSB, etc.) for three (3) days from 08:00 AM on October 1, 2025, to 08:00 AM on October 4, 2025, to ensure the smooth execution of the current Core Banking System (CBS) upgradation program.
This consent is granted under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
