This measure ensures the availability of check, chalan, pay order, and demand draft services for taxpayers to deposit income tax, VAT, and customs duties into the government treasury. Banks are instructed to take necessary security precautions before opening these branches on the specified date.

Dear Sir,
Regarding the opening of relevant branches of all scheduled banks on Saturday, June 29, 2019, to facilitate the deposit of Income Tax, VAT, and Customs into the Government Treasury.
In order to facilitate the deposit of Income Tax, VAT, and Customs by respected taxpayers through check/chalan/pay order/demand draft services, and after ensuring necessary security, instructions are hereby given to all scheduled banks to take appropriate measures to keep their relevant branches (particularly all banks at the district level and Sonali Bank Ltd. at the Upazila level) open on Saturday, 29/06/2019.
