DOS Circular Letter No. 21: Keeping scheduled bank branches closed in the election area on 30th July 2023 Sunday for Election of 287 Chattogram-10 of National Parliament
Scheduled banks are required to keep all branches and local offices closed in the specific election area of Chattogram-10 on Sunday, 30 July 2023. This directive is issued in accordance with a gazette notification from the Ministry of Public Administration dated 26 July 2023, concerning the by-election for the vacant seat of National Parliament constituency 287 Chattogram-10.

Context regarding keeping branches/sub-branches of scheduled banks closed in the relevant election area on 30 July 2023, the day of voting for the election to the vacant seat of 287 Chattogram-10 of the National Parliament.
Dear Sir,
In accordance with Gazette Notification No.-05.00.0000.173.08.002.21-121 dated 26 July 2023 of the Ministry of Public Administration, all branches/sub-branches of scheduled banks, including local offices, located in the relevant election area will remain closed on 30 July 2023 for the election to the vacant seat of 287 Chattogram-10 of the National Parliament.
