DOS Circular Letter No. 22: Keeping bank branches closed from 5th August 2024 to 7th August 2024
The Bangladesh Bank and all scheduled banks and financial institutions under its jurisdiction are required to remain closed on Monday, 5 August 2024, Tuesday, 6 August 2024, and Wednesday, 7 August 2024. This directive is issued in light of the government's declaration of a public holiday for these dates.

Regarding the closure of scheduled banks on 05, 06, and 07 August 2024.
Dear Sir,
- This directive is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
We would like to inform you that, in view of the government's declaration of a public holiday, the Bangladesh Bank and all scheduled banks and financial institutions operating under its jurisdiction will remain closed on the upcoming dates of 05, 06, and 07 August 2024, which are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, respectively.
