The instruction in Clause 3(d) of DOS Circular No. 01 dated 19/01/2014 is substituted to define inter-bank items as excluding the surplus amount of subordinated debt. Amended formats for statements DB-4(C) and DB-4(I) are attached to facilitate the reporting of demand and time liabilities for conventional and Islamic banking respectively. These changes apply to all scheduled banks in Bangladesh and come into force with immediate effect.
