DOS Circular Letter No. 25: Keeping scheduled bank branches open till 8.00 P.M. on 29 and 30 November 2017 for the sake of income tax payment

This directive is issued in response to a notification from the National Board of Revenue dated November 28, 2017, aimed at ensuring security measures for taxpayers during these specific dates.

28 November, 2017 AD Chief Executive All Scheduled Banks operating in Bangladesh Dear Sir, Regarding keeping the deposit/payment order facility for income tax payment open until 8.00 P.M. on 29 and 30 November, 2017 With reference to the National Board of Revenue's letter No. 08.01.0000.027.12.001.17/250 dated 28/11/2017 on the above-mentioned subject, you are hereby informed that, to ensure necessary security arrangements for the convenience of respected taxpayers in paying income tax, the relevant branches of scheduled banks will remain open to provide income tax challan deposit/payment order facilities until 8.00 P.M. on 29-30 November, 2017.
