DOS Circular Letter No. 25: Keeping scheduled bank branches open till 8.00 P.M. on 29 and 30 November 2016 for the sake of income tax payment
All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are required to keep all their branches open until 8:00 PM on November 29 and 30, 2016, to facilitate income tax payments via challan or pay-order. This directive is issued in response to a request from the National Board of Revenue to ensure adequate security measures are in place for taxpayers during these specific dates.

Dear Sir, Regarding keeping the Challan/Pay-Order facility operational until 8:00 PM on November 29 and 30, 2016, for the convenience of income tax payment
With reference to the letter Ref No. 08.01.0000.027.12.001.16 dated 28/11/2016 of the National Board of Revenue regarding the aforementioned subject, it is brought to your attention that, to facilitate income tax payment by respected taxpayers through Challan/Pay-Order, all branches of scheduled banks will remain open until 8:00 PM on November 29-30, 2016, after ensuring necessary security arrangements.
