DOS Circular Letter No. 26: Intermission of Banking Operations of National Bank of Pakistan (Bangladesh Operations) due to Data Centre Relocation
The Department of Offshore Supervision grants consent for the National Bank of Pakistan (Bangladesh Operations) to temporarily suspend all banking operations from November 19, 2023, to November 23, 2023, for the purpose of data center relocation. This consent is issued under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991, and is directed to the Managing Directors or Chief Executive Officers of all scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh.

Subject: Regarding the temporary suspension of all banking operations of National Bank of Pakistan (Bangladesh Operations) for the purpose of data center relocation.
Dear Sir,
Reference is invited to the above-mentioned subject. It is informed that, upon the application of the said bank, consent has been granted to temporarily suspend all banking operations of National Bank of Pakistan (Bangladesh Operations) from November 19, 2023, to November 23, 2023, for the purpose of data center relocation.
This consent has been granted under the powers conferred by Section 45 of the Bank Company Act, 1991.
