Scheduled banks are required to keep their branches closed in the Narayangonj City Corporation election area on Thursday, 22 December 2016. This directive is issued to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and the voting process by government officials and employees in the relevant electoral zone.

Dear Sir,
Regarding keeping scheduled bank branches closed on the day of voting, 22 December, 2016, Thursday, on the occasion of the Narayangonj City Corporation Election
In light of the Memorandum No. 05.00.0000.173.08.001.12-281 dated 15/12/2016 from the Law-4 Branch of the Ministry of Public Administration, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, regarding the Narayangonj City Corporation Election, to facilitate the exercise of voting rights and voting by government/employees in the concerned election area, all controlling offices and branches of scheduled banks located in the election area will remain closed on Thursday, 22 December, 2016.
