DOS Circular Letter No. 32: Conducting Normal Banking Services
The Department of Off-Site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank mandates that all scheduled banks resume normal banking operations starting August 11, 2021, adhering to a schedule of 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for office hours and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for transaction hours. Banks are required to maintain social distancing and ensure the use of masks in all areas. The circular also withdraws previous restrictions on evening and weekly holiday banking and exempts banks from submitting reports under specific prior directives.

Regarding conducting normal banking services. Dear Sir, From 11 August 2021, normal banking services will be conducted according to the following schedule: 02. In addition to maintaining social distancing in the office environment, it is mandatory to ensure the wearing of masks in all areas and to properly follow health regulations. 03. The ban mentioned in paragraph 5 of DOS Circular Letter No. 11 dated 04 April 2021, regarding evening and weekly holiday banking services, is hereby withdrawn. 04. There is no requirement to submit reports/details to comply with the instructions mentioned in paragraphs 2 and 3 of DOS Circular Letter No. 18 dated 28 May 2020.
