The Department of Off-Site Supervision of Bangladesh Bank establishes the office and transaction hours for all scheduled banks in Bangladesh during the holy month of Ramadan 1437 AH (May 2016). Office hours are set from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with a break for Zuhr prayer from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM. Transaction services are available from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, with internal coordination ensuring continuous transaction processing during the prayer break. Normal office and transaction schedules will resume immediately after the conclusion of Ramadan.

Dear Sir,
With reference to the determination of office and transaction timings during the holy month of Ramadan 1437 AH (2016 AD), the office and transaction timings for all bank companies operating in Bangladesh during the holy month of Ramadan 1437 AH (2016 AD) are as follows:

Although a break for Zuhr prayer has been designated from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM, transaction work will remain continuous through internal coordination, similar to the pre-Ramadan period.
It is noted that after the holy month of Ramadan concludes, the bank's office and transaction timetable will return to the pre-Ramadan schedule.
