DRAFT REVISED FIT AND PROPER GUIDELINE
The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago (‘Central Bank’/‘Bank’) issued a draft revised Fit and Proper Guideline (‘draft Guideline’) for your review and comment in February 2019. The Central Bank appreciates all the feedback received and has considered carefully your comments in updating the draft Guideline.
The Bank’s responses to your comments are appended for your review. Further, we have noted your concerns regarding the absence of the amended draft Personal Questionnaire and Declaration (‘PQD’) and Corporate Questionnaire and Declaration (‘CQD’) Forms which reflect the tenets of the draft Guideline and accordingly we have now appended same for your review.
Please note that the revised Forms as well as the comments matrix can also be accessed at https://www.central-bank.org.tt/core-functions/supervision under the “drafts and consultation papers” tabs for each respective sector.
Comments and queries should be submitted electronically to FitandProperComments@central-bank.org.tt by August 6, 2019.
We look forward to your cooperation and timely feedback.
Yours sincerely
