CSA publishes proposed amendment to insider reporting requirements for comment

The Canadian Securities Administrators have published a proposed amendment to Part 9 of National Instrument 55-104 to clarify the insider reporting regime for transactions involving investment funds and certain structured products. This regulatory change aims to address reporting obligations for structured notes, American Depositary Receipts, and Canadian Depositary Receipts based on securities of the reporting insider’s issuer. Stakeholders are invited to submit comments on the proposal within the 60-day comment period closing on June 8, 2026.
