Regulation on Bank Identification Codes of Payment System Participants of the Kyrgyz Republic

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic issues this Regulation to define the six-digit structure and assignment procedure for Bank Identification Codes (BICs) used by payment system participants and their branches. It establishes the BIC Reference Book as a departmental database containing standardized participant details, SWIFT codes, account numbers, and operational statuses. The Regulation mandates that all non-cash payment documents utilize these codes for routing and settlement, with the National Bank maintaining electronic records and providing access to participants based on contractual terms.
