Decree No. 2002-023 of March 18, 2002 on the Abrogation of the Appointment of Administrators of the Central Bank of Madagascar (JORM of March 25, 2002, p. 1046)
President Marc Ravalomanana issued Decree No. 2002-023 on March 18, 2002 to abrogate Decree No. 98-569 of August 12, 1998 and terminate the appointments of the administrators of the Central Bank of Madagascar. The Vice Prime Minister for Economy, Finance and Budget executes this decree, which takes immediate effect upon radio and television broadcast alongside public posting. This abrogation nullifies prior administrative appointments, thereby resetting the governance structure of Madagascar's central banking authority.
