The OCC, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and FDIC are conducting a regulatory review under the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 to identify outdated or unnecessary requirements for insured depository institutions. This notice initiates the first phase of a multi-year process by requesting public comments on regulations within the categories of Applications and Reporting, Powers and Activities, and International Operations. Written comments must be submitted by May 6, 2024, to assist the agencies in determining whether to amend or repeal specific rules to reduce regulatory burden while maintaining safety and soundness.
