Compliance with EBA Guidelines on exceptional large exposure limit breaches (EBA/GL/2021/09)

The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared compliance with the European Banking Authority's guidelines regarding the assessment of exceptional breaches of large exposure limits. These guidelines specify the criteria for evaluating such breaches, as well as the deadlines and measures required for remediation. The regulations became applicable to credit institutions supervised by the ACPR on January 1, 2022, mandating full adherence under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

NOTICE Compliance with the European Banking Authority Guidelines EBA/GL/2021/09 specifying the criteria for assessing exceptional cases of breach of large exposure limits, as well as the deadlines and measures to be taken for remediation The Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared compliance with the guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA/GL/2021/09) specifying the criteria for assessing exceptional cases of breach of large exposure limits, as well as the deadlines and measures to be taken for remediation, attached to this notice. These guidelines are applicable as of 1 January 2022 by credit institutions subject to the supervision of the ACPR, which must do everything in their power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority).
