Draft Amendments to Policy Statement to Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements

The securities regulators amended Policy Statement to Regulation 41-101 respecting General Prospectus Requirements to clarify Business Acquisition Report requirements. The revision specifically modifies Section 5.9 by replacing a hyphen in paragraph (5) with text defining indirect acquisitions. This change establishes that an indirect acquisition is considered significant if it meets the criteria of subsection 35.1(4) of Form 41-101F1 applied to the issuer's proportionate interest.
