Notice Relating to Filing of Annual Return and Other Documents for Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2023 – Damage (P&C) Insurers Authorized in Québec
The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) requires all authorized damage and reinsurance insurers operating in Québec to electronically file their annual returns, financial statements, and actuarial reports for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. Submissions must be completed via AMF E-Services within designated deadlines, typically sixty days after the fiscal year end, and must include signed affidavits, auditor reports, Minimum Capital Test calculations, and compliance attestations. Failure to submit complete or timely filings exposes insurers to monetary administrative penalties under the Insurers Act, with detailed form specifications and instructions provided in the attached appendices.
