Circular No. 55/2025: Al-Khalil Reconstruction Committee / National Campaign to Lift the Closure of Central Hebron
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 55/2025 to all banks operating in Palestine, instructing them to facilitate banking transaction procedures for the Al-Khalil Reconstruction Committee. This directive follows a request from the Ministry of Interior, which confirmed the Committee's status as a national campaign established by Presidential Decree and subordinate to the Palestinian Council of Ministers. Banks are directed to treat the Committee as a quasi-governmental institution to ensure smooth financial operations in support of its mission.
