Guideline on the Preparation and Submission of Reports by Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Electronic Form (from 1 January 2023)
The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) issued this Guideline to standardize the electronic preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports by insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as cross-border branches and insurance groups. It mandates specific electronic file formats—including XML, PDF, XLS, and XBRL—for statistical, financial, investment, Solvency and Financial Condition (SFCR), Regular Supervisory (RSR), and Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) reports, all requiring management or Appointed Actuary signatures. Effective from 1 January 2023, the document replaces prior reporting rules and establishes precise technical standards, submission deadlines, and electronic signing procedures aligned with EU Solvency II regulations.
