The maximum loan limit from the Export Development Fund (EDF) for Authorized Dealers in Foreign Exchange in Bangladesh is increased from USD 20.00 million to USD 25.00 million. This change applies to loans against foreign currency financing for input procurement for member mills of BGMEA and BTMA. The instruction is effective immediately and other instructions in the referenced circular remain unchanged.

Enhancement of loan limit from Export Development Fund (EDF) Please refer to paragraph 5(a) and 5(b) of FE Circular No. 45, dated 31 December 2017 in terms of which an Authorized Dealer may borrow maximum USD 20.00 million loan from EDF against their foreign currency financing of input procurement for member mills of BGMEA and BTMA.
