Extension of validity period of Bangladesh Bank's approval for outward remittance

The validity period for authorizations to sell foreign exchange for outward remittances is extended from 30 days to 45 days from the date of approval. This change applies to all Authorized Dealers in Bangladesh and modifies the requirement previously set in paragraph 6, chapter 5 of the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions (GFET)-2018, Vol-1. All other existing instructions regarding these transactions remain unchanged.

To facilitate the transactions, it has been decided to extend the validity period mentioned above from 30 days to 45 days. Other instructions in this regard shall remain unchanged.
