External Circular CIEX N° 26/2024: Third Quarter Quota – Contribution to the Depositor Protection Fund
The Central Bank of Bolivia will automatically debit the third-quarter 2024 contribution to the Depositor Protection Fund from all Financial Intermediation Entities on October 15, 2024. This debit, made from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency, will be 1.25‰ of the daily average balance of obligations with the public for the third quarter, in accordance with Article 518 of Law N° 393 on Financial Services. Financial Intermediation Entities are requested to ensure sufficient funds are provisioned for this debit.
EXTERNAL CIRCULAR La Paz, October 11, 2024 CIEX N° 26/2024 FROM: GENERAL MANAGEMENT FINANCIAL ENTITIES MANAGEMENT TO: FINANCIAL INTERMEDIATION ENTITIES SUBJECT: THIRD QUARTER QUOTA – CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEPOSITOR PROTECTION FUND Gentlemen: The Central Bank of Bolivia informs all Financial Intermediation Entities that on October 15, 2024, in application of Article 518 of Law N° 393 on Financial Services of August 21, 2013, it will automatically debit the quota corresponding to the third quarter of 2024 for the Depositor Protection Fund (contribution from Financial Intermediation Entities) from their Current and Reserve Account or Reserve Account in national and foreign currency. The debited amount will be equivalent to one point twenty-five per thousand (1.25‰) of the daily average balance of obligations with the public in the aforementioned quarter.
