External Circular No. 025 2018 SGDB - Information Capture System for the Housing Price Index

The Central Bank of Bolivia mandates that Financial Intermediation Entities regularize the submission of data for the Housing Price Index from their licensing date by August 31, 2018, using Version 2.06 of the information capture system. This version includes the IFD Fundación PRO MUJER, which must begin updating the requested information. Entities are required to provide specific and general location codes instead of marking them as unregistered, as the system can identify housing zones from detailed addresses. The new system version becomes available on the ASFI Intranet starting July 10, 2018.

INFORMATION CAPTURE SYSTEM FOR THE HOUSING PRICE INDEX

SUBJECT:

Ladies and Gentlemen:

The Central Bank of Bolivia informs Financial Intermediation Entities (FIEs) that starting July 10, 2018, the new version of the 'Information Capture System for the Housing Price Index' (Version 2.06) will be available on the ASFI Intranet.

Therefore, all Development Financial Institutions (DFIs) are instructed to regularize the submission of information for the Housing Price Index by August 31, 2018, starting from the date they obtained their operating license. It should be noted that Version 2.06 includes "Fundación PRO MUJER DFI," an entity that must update the requested information.

Furthermore, it has been observed that some FIEs send general and specific location codes as "unregistered" (SIR). However, based on the detailed addresses of the properties, the zones where the housing units are located are identifiable in the maps provided by the Information Capture System for the Housing Price Index. In this regard, entities must send information with the aforementioned codes.

Any inquiries or clarifications will be addressed at phone numbers 2661642 and 2661641 or via email at qbrizzia@bcb.gob.bo or asucre@bcb.gob.bo.

Sincerely,
