The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication “A” 8408 to waive regulatory observations on financial institutions’ acquisition of local debt securities issued by the Province of Mendoza, capping eligible purchases at $493.7 billion under Provincial Laws 8,706 and 9,681. The resolution aligns with the consolidated framework for non-financial public sector financing and incorporates conditions set by the Treasury Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy.
